Magicaluna Now Enchanting Guests at Efteling Theater

A new illusion show has arrived at Efteling: “Magicaluna” now transports visitors several times a day into a wondrous dream world filled with fantasy and amazement. The nonverbal production received thunderous applause at its premiere.

“With Magicaluna, we are expanding our entertainment offering with a wonderful experience that touches our guests in a new way,” says Nicole Scheffers, Director of Park & Resorts. “The show combines poetic illusion art with an emotional story about fantasy and wonder. It reminds us that the ability to be amazed is timeless and accompanies us throughout our lives.”

In the roughly twenty-minute show, visitors follow the girl Luna on her magical journey between dream and reality. On the eve of her birthday, she decides to leave her childhood behind. But that night, mysterious dream builders transform her room into a captivating spectacle: toys come to life, shadows show the way, and illusions open the door to a world full of fantasy. On this journey, Luna realizes that the ability to marvel remains a valuable companion for life – regardless of age.

“Magicaluna” runs daily until November 8 at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and is free for all park guests at the Efteling Theater. No reservation is required. The family-friendly show is suitable for the whole family and is recommended for guests aged 6 and older. The performance times for the theater show CARO remain unchanged.

Efteling teamed up with the internationally renowned production company Magus Utopia to bring the show to life. The creative team has been delighting audiences for more than 25 years with imaginative illusions and poetic storytelling in over 40 countries. Together, they created a production bearing the unmistakable Efteling signature, where fantasy, artisanal precision and emotional storytelling blend seamlessly.

With Magicaluna, the diverse show program at the Efteling Theater gains another enchanting story that connects generations.
