Starting December 19, two new themed suites will open at the Efteling Wonder Hotel for guests seeking an overnight stay in a world brimming with adventure. The "Joris and the Dragon" Suite and the "Max & Moritz" Suite each accommodate five people and invite visitors to unforgettable nights filled with pranks and mischief. Both suites are already bookable and immerse guests directly in the stories of the Efteling theme park.
The "Max & Moritz" Suite at the Efteling Wonder Hotel plunges guests into the world of the prankster rascals. Here, the curtain looks as if it has been singed by a launched rocket, one windowpane displays a clear crack, and paint splatters reveal the boys' tracks. Some pranks only reveal themselves upon closer inspection, while cheerful music and quirky sounds enliven the atmosphere, much like in the park's family roller coaster. The suite for five people in one of the hotel's towers includes a double bed, a spacious seating area, and a closet for storing luggage. A thick curtain leads to the second sleeping area with a bunk bed constructed from soap crates, filled with colorful pillows and concealing an additional pull-out bed. A secret closet invites children to unwind after a day at Efteling. In the ceiling looms a crookedly built skylight, and the shaggy pet of Max and Moritz dangles overhead. A crate with the rascals' items and a "Boemknaller" provides the perfect mischief to startle parents.
In contrast to the playful disarray of the "Max & Moritz" Suite, the "Joris and the Dragon" Suite beckons with a touch of mystery and battle fervor. Upon entering the spacious accommodation for five people in one of the hotel's towers, guests find themselves right in the swamp where the dragon lurks. Green tones, rustic wooden furniture, and a custom double bed reflect this marshy setting. In the "Cabinet of the Quarrelsome," a collection of dragon finds, drawings, and hero potions from past fighters is on display. Vigilance is advised, as the dragon may be closer than it appears. Behind a thick curtain is a medieval tent in the colors of water and fire, where a sturdy bunk bed in a knight theme awaits with an additional pull-out bed. Here, guests can arm themselves and practice thrusting the sword into the dragon's heart to defeat it without touching the spiral. The brave victor receives a thousand and one ducats—a nod to the epic roller coaster ride. Guests can thus spend the night in a mysterious swamp where a dragon lies in wait or relax in their own medieval tent.
A stay in the new themed suites of the Efteling Wonder Hotel combines comfort with magical experiences. Every overnight stay includes unlimited access to Efteling on all visit days, an extensive breakfast buffet, and early entry half an hour before the official opening time via a dedicated entrance. Parking on the hotel lot is free, and guests gain access to the Badhuys swimming pool in Efteling Bosrijk. Restaurant Saga at the Efteling Wonder Hotel is ideal for a delicious breakfast, a relaxing cup of coffee, a chat at the bar, or à la carte dining.
The Efteling Wonder Hotel itself is an air castle full of wondrous tales that floats through the clouds and past the stars at night. It serves as the ideal starting point for a world of wonders, whether in dreamy rooms or the fairy-tale themed suites. In dreams, the wondrous stories of Efteling continue, making the hotel the most imaginative place to stay in this magical realm.
