“One of our biggest goals was to make the lobby brighter, more vibrant and more functional for guests,” said Luis Sanchez, project manager on the Facility Asset Management team. “We looked at everything from the lighting to the seating layout so the space feels more open and welcoming – and really captures the look and feel the Disney Imagineers had in mind.”

The Petals Pool Bar at the Hippy Dippy Pool has become even more inviting. Fresh finishes, colorful tile details and clear digital menu boards turn every midday break into a treat. Friendly Cast Members are on hand with fast recommendations so you can stay fully in vacation mode.

After a full day of fun, the refreshed rooms offer real comfort. Disney Imagineers brought Pop Century’s playful decade-inspired style to life with a brighter color palette, warm wood-toned flooring and geometric accents in blue, gray, green and orange, plus soft sky-blue touches near the bed and bathroom. New curtains, patterned upholstery and subtle Hidden Mickeys in the chair fabric keep everything unmistakably Disney while staying clean, comfortable and practical.

These updates tie in nicely with earlier improvements at Everything POP Shopping & Dining, including refreshed dining and shopping areas plus a new coffee shop. A big plus is that the resort sits just steps from the Disney Skyliner, so EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are super easy to reach.
