Europa-Park will dedicate the weekend around German Unity Day to the cultural diversity of the country. As part of the European-themed festivals for the 50th anniversary, the German Festival will focus on traditional costumes, beer and wine, brass music, and colorful customs. From October 3 to 5, visitors can look forward to a varied program that brings traditions to life.
Trabi Exhibition at the Start
German Unity Day on October 3 will mark the beginning with an extensive Trabi exhibition. A total of 58 original vehicles and lovingly maintained nostalgic models from the former GDR will be on display along German Alley and in front of the main entrance. These iconic cars will evoke memories of bygone times and make an impressive sight as they move in a colorful parade.
Traditional Costume Meeting on Saturday
On Saturday, October 4, a large traditional costume meeting will take place, where over 1,000 participants in traditional attire will offer a vibrant journey through regional traditions. Dance performances and live music from various groups will create an authentic festival atmosphere, making traditional culture tangible for all visitors.
Tractor Exhibition on Sunday
The conclusion will come on Sunday, October 5, with a large tractor exhibition featuring around 50 impressive vehicles in front of the main entrance. A horsepower-packed parade will then lead these tractors through Europa-Park.
Varied Supporting Program on All Days
On all three days, a diverse supporting program will enhance the event with sociable entertainment. The Music Trabi will bring musical vibes to the German-themed area. The rolling photo living room will allow for special keepsake photos. Games and crafts activities will create creative experiences for children, while a nostalgic photo exhibition with historical images will invite guests on a journey through time in Europa-Park's history. The entire event is included in the daily admission.
