LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is adding a playful twist to the spooky season with the unveiling of its first pumpkin patch. The patch combines real pumpkins with LEGO creations, emphasizing the park's focus on creativity and fun.
The Unique Pumpkin Patch
The pumpkin patch stands center stage in front of the iconic castle and includes a total of 500 pumpkins. It mixes real specimens with impressive LEGO pumpkins that weigh a total of 103 kilograms. These LEGO models used 44,686 bricks, and the construction required 134 hours of expert work.
Survey Findings on the Halloween Season
The unveiling is based on a survey of 2,000 children aged 5 to 12 from LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, which revealed that nearly one-fifth would view LEGO bricks as their preferred choice for trick-or-treating at Halloween. In addition to LEGO bricks, stickers and bouncy balls are among the popular treats that children hope for this season. When asked about the reasons for preferring LEGO bricks, 59% said it was because they can build things with them, while 57% said it was because they can play with them. These results highlight the value that children place on creativity and imaginative play, underscoring that the spooky season is not just about the sugar rush but also about the fun of building, playing and creating fang-tastic masterpieces.
Sharing the Halloween Haul
For trick-or-treating, 88% of children say they enjoy sharing their haul. The most common recipient is the mother, with 54% of mentions, followed by brothers and sisters at 53%. In the Greater London region, children are the most generous, with 93% of those surveyed planning to share their treats, regardless of what they might be.

Activities for Visitors at Halloween
Families visiting at Halloween can start their day at the pumpkin patch with a spook-tacular game of pumpkin spotting, where they hunt for the LEGO pumpkins amid a sea of real pumpkins. Then the ghostly brilliant fun continues with activities at the "Brick or Treat" event. Little monsters elevate brick-or-treating to a new level on the brand-new trick-or-treat trail, where a colorful troupe of spooky characters—including Skeleton Guy, Monster Rocker and Mummy—bring creepy surprises around every corner.
New Highlights in the Resort
New this year is Lord Vampyre's House Party, where the dance floor comes alive and guests can shake their bones while the resort transforms into an enchanting party spot. "Brick or Treat" runs throughout the entire month of October with activities on selected dates between October 4 and November 1. The offerings include the fang-tastic Monster Jam Harbour Show, spooky fun on the trick-or-treat trail, an electrifying new DJ show in the queue for a ride, as well as a brand-new house party with Lord Vampyre.
