Plopsaland Belgium Launches New Season with Grand Opening and €25 Million Investment

Plopsaland Belgium has officially kicked off its new season in De Panne with a festive Grand Opening. In the presence of many celebrities and stars, the park celebrated in style and launched what promises to be a truly exciting year – the grand finale of its 25th anniversary.

The new Grand Finale Show made its debut right on opening day. This lively 25-minute production featuring dancers and Studio 100 characters will now provide a spectacular end to every day at the park.

The Rijschool Suikerbuik also opened its doors in the Big & Betsy Zone. This family-friendly driving attraction replaces the former traffic park and fits perfectly into the farm theme. The area is clearing space for something much bigger though: the Vliegende Cinema, set to open in spring 2027.

From the Easter holidays onwards, guests can look forward to the new Plopsaland Beach on De Panne’s shoreline, complete with sunshades and loungers available for rent. The new themed family restaurant Piratengrill will follow in July.

The real highlight, however, arrives in 2027 with Plopsaland Plaza. This new experience square is set to become the beating heart of the entire resort and will feature the European premiere of the Vliegende Cinema. Visitors will soar virtually across Europe with Maya the Bee inside a moving gondola. Plopsaland is investing 25 million euros in this landmark project.

The Studio 100 characters have been the heart of Plopsaland for over 25 years. This is a place where families create memories to last a lifetime."
