Dragon Khan Returns: Easter Celebration Kicks Off at PortAventura World

Spring has arrived, bringing one of the most exciting family events of the year to PortAventura World. From March 26 to May 3, the resort celebrates Easter Celebration with extended opening hours and beautiful spring weather. For fans, this means nonstop action, magical shows, and plenty of unforgettable moments with the whole family.

The absolute highlight is the return of Dragon Khan, starting from Easter Week. After undergoing a partial retrack, the iconic coaster is back in top form. Two key elements have been completely renewed: the Cobra Roll and the Vertical Loop. The ride now feels even more intense and powerful, further enhanced by the reopening of the water attractions and Templo del Fuego.

SésamoAventura turns into the joyful heart of the celebration, filled with Easter eggs and blooming nature. A real standout is the Easter Party: A spectacular show brings all the Sesame Street friends together – including a special appearance by Big Bird – for a big welcome-to-spring party. Street entertainment featuring the Easter Bunny, along with meet-and-greets with Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster and many others, keeps the whole family smiling.

The show lineup has also been expanded. Two new productions add fresh energy: México Lindo takes visitors on a musical journey through different regions of Mexico, while Can Can Express tells an exciting story in classic Far West style, complete with dancing, duels and lots of fun. These shows blend perfectly with the existing program across all themed areas.

Ferrari Land reopens its gates on March 27, welcoming guests back into the full Ferrari universe. Red Force – Europe’s tallest and fastest roller coaster – returns with pure adrenaline. The experience is rounded out by Flying Dreams, Thrill Towers and the Ferrari Land Gallery. Technical upgrades to Pole Position Challenge and three new simulators for younger visitors complete the offering nicely.
