Universal Volcano Bay Nights Returns: Exclusive After-Hours Summer Event

As temperatures rise, water park enthusiasts have something to celebrate: Universal Volcano Bay Nights is returning to Universal Orlando Resort this summer. On select evenings from May 3 through August 21 the exclusive after-hours event turns the award-winning water theme park into an unforgettable nighttime party – with shorter lines, special experiences and plenty of summer vibes.

This limited-capacity event delivers real highlights for every visitor. Guests enjoy significantly reduced wait times on top attractions like the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, the Ko’okiri Body Plunge and TeAwa the Fearless River. The Beach Bash at Waturi Beach is particularly atmospheric, with a live DJ spinning tracks and meet-and-greet opportunities with beloved DreamWorks characters from Shrek and Madagascar.

Refreshments are well taken care of. Complimentary treats like Blue Raspberry Churro Bites and Garlic Parmesan Popcorn are on hand, while specialty food and beverage items are available at select locations. The free Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup unlocks over 100 drink options, including unlimited Coca-Cola refills.

Universal Volcano Bay Nights takes place on the following dates: May 3, 10, 17, 22 and 31, June 5, 12, 18 and 25, July 10 and 17, as well as August 7, 14 and 21. The event officially starts at 7 p.m., but guests can arrive as early as 4 p.m. to enjoy the park during the day. Tickets are on sale now for $99 plus tax per person and include parking. Holders of a Universal Orlando Annual or Seasonal Pass receive a 10 percent discount with valid photo ID.

For an even more relaxed experience, private cabanas can be booked on-site starting at $199.99 plus tax, subject to availability.
