New 1930s-Style Florist Boutique Opens January 31, 2026 at Disney Adventure World

Starting January 31, 2026, a stunning new boutique opens at Disney Adventure World, just steps from The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™. It seamlessly bridges the glamorous vibe of World Premiere Plaza with the lush greenery of Adventure Way. Created by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris in collaboration with the Design & Delivery teams, this immersive retail space revives a 1930s flower shop complete with a rich backstory that fits perfectly into the golden age of Hollywood theming.

“We designed this place to be thematically consistent with World Premiere Plaza while also fitting naturally with Adventure Way, as it sits right at the junction between the two,” explains Sébastien Dhainaut, Set Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris. A flower shop naturally belongs in a theatre district, and they were commonly found near parks since carrying bouquets while strolling was highly fashionable at the time.

The existing structure has been fully enclosed and reimagined in Spanish Revival style. Warm-coloured roof tiles blend with the nearby Hollywood Tower Hotel, a trompe-l’oeil mural featuring Art Deco-inspired shapes adorns one façade wall, and bluish-green mosaic tiles echo the surrounding streetlamps and Adventure Way structures. Fragrant cypress trees, Mexican orange blossom, and lavender surround the exterior, inspired by 1930s florists. The rear area is deliberately weathered to represent the delivery zone, complete with a painted inscription – less polished than the guest-facing entrance.

Inside, guests step into a warm 1930s atmosphere: lightly aged limewashed walls, red-tinted wooden beams, and opaline glass light fittings create an elegant boutique that feels right at home in this glamorous district. Shelves display prized Oriental vases – hugely popular in 1930s California – alongside lilies, peonies, pale-petalled roses, terracotta pots, and watering cans. A striking poster illustrates the language of flowers, while miniature wooden sailing boats nod to children’s park activities of the past century, linking to Adventure Way’s gardens and lake.

Though under new ownership, the shop honours its origins with photographs of the three sisters who first opened it in old Hollywood and newspaper clippings of their finest creations – including a magnificent bouquet delivered to the Hollywood Tower Hotel shortly before its tragic events.
