Europa-Park in Rust, which attracts over six million visitors annually, is planning a new location in Alsace called Europa Valley. Michael Mack, the managing partner, stated in an interview with the regional newspaper "Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace" that the project planning is essentially complete. The focus is on greenery and tranquility, with possible sports and family attractions, as well as hotels, near the municipality of Diebolsheim northeast of Sélestat.

Germany's largest theme park, Europa-Park Resort, will transform into a spooky yet enchanting Halloween paradise from September 27 to November 2, 2025. Witches and ghosts will invite visitors to a unique spectacle featuring extraordinary decorations, autumnal cuisine, and breathtaking shows. Germany's largest Halloween spectacle will offer thrills and magic for the whole family, transporting guests into a world of frights and enchantment.

On September 21, 2025, the traditional Alsace Day took place at Europa-Park, Germany's largest theme park, where numerous visitors experienced a festive program with atmospheric entertainment offerings and musical performances. The highlight was the awarding of the Bretzel d’Or to the Mack family, owners of the park, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

On Sept. 19, Thomas Mack, managing partner of Europa-Park, will tap the first keg of Hofbräu Oktoberfest beer in the Europa-Park Arena. Moderated by schlager icon Stefan Mross, this act will mark the official start of Oktoberfest at Europa-Park. Accompanied by traditional music and the customary words “O'zapft is!”, guests will celebrate the kickoff of the festival season.
