On July 12, 2025, Europa-Park in Rust will host an extraordinary event. Austrian extreme athletes Marco Fürst and Marco Waltenspiel will mark the park’s 50th anniversary with a breathtaking wingsuit jump from the new Europa-Park Zeppelin. Soaring at speeds of around 260 km/h from 1,000 meters above ground, they will land precisely in the Portuguese-themed area in front of the “Atlantica - SuperSplash” water coaster.

On Monday, June 23, 2025, the Europa-Park hosted the ceremonial groundbreaking for the “Europa-Park Kinderhaus Kleine Helden.” Wieland Schwarzkopf, President of the Verband der Deutschen Vergnügungsanlagenhersteller e.V. (VDV), presented a 5,000-euro donation to Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, and Miriam Mack, ambassador of the Kinderhaus. This initiative supports children recovering from cancer and their families with memorable experiences.

On June 17, 2025, the Guide MICHELIN Germany awarded two stars to “Ammolite – The Lighthouse Restaurant” at Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort. Located in the lighthouse of the 4-star superior “Bell Rock” hotel in Rust, chef Peter Hagen-Wiest impressed the inspectors for the eleventh consecutive year with his outstanding cuisine.

The Europa-Park hosted the thrilling finale of “Mathematics Without Borders 2025.” The 2a class from Gymnasium Oberwil in Switzerland clinched victory with exceptional mathematical skills and impressive teamwork. The 10a class from Schule Birklehof in Hinterzarten came in a close second. Around 400 students from Germany, Alsace, and Switzerland tackled the challenge.
