Europa-Park Hosts 16th Charity Advent Event for Einfach Helfen e.V.

For the 16th time, the traditional Advent event organized by the charity Einfach Helfen e.V. took place at Europa-Park. More than 700 guests filled the festively decorated Europa-Park Dome to capacity, enjoying a varied program and supporting people in difficult circumstances with their donations.

Mauritia Mack, chairwoman of the association and a member of the owning family, welcomed the guests with personal words. “It is important to me to show that Europa-Park is not only a place of spectacular roller coasters and emotional shows, but above all a place that brings people together—whether to laugh, marvel, or, as today, for a good cause,” she said. Even in the park’s anniversary year, social commitment remains a matter very close to the family’s heart. The fates of the people the charity helps continue to touch her deeply and underline just how urgent and necessary this work is.

The entertaining program put everyone in a festive Advent mood and offered fresh inspiration for the Christmas season. Singer and presenter Hansy Vogt, taking part for the fourth time, delighted the audience with his performance and narration. He accompanied the photo presentation of the traditional women’s hike led by Ludwina Geiger and Lioba Metz and was himself deeply moved by the valuable work of the volunteers. Dr. Karl-Heinz Debacher had the crowd laughing with authentic dialect stories from his new book “Jo allewäg!” Jasmin Nopper moved guests with German Christmas carols and a touching performance. The program closed with a spectacular appearance by Europa-Park artists.

Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed coffee and cake, generously donated once again by Konditorei-Bäckerei Käufer of Ettenheim and Bäckerei Armbruster.
