Starting March 6, the 29th season of the popular KiKa series “Schloss Einstein” kicks off – and a young talent straight from Europa-Park is right in the middle of it. 14-year-old Jonas Fischer from Königschaffhausen takes on one of the new lead roles as Milo Liebknecht, bringing fresh humor and real emotion to the boarding-school life.
Jonas has been a member of the TALENT ACADEMY at Europa-Park since May 2023 and attends the Acting course there. In the course he slips into different roles and learns to portray emotions authentically. In the series he plays a true showman: Milo is celebrated for his talent, humor and enthusiasm, always wanting to be the center of attention.
Behind the cheerful facade, however, there is more. Milo’s parents want to separate. So far he has tried to save the marriage by making everyone laugh. At “Schloss Einstein” he also tries to save the show – but learns that he is not responsible for everyone else’s happiness.
His path to television began right where he still trains today. After his talent was discovered at the TALENT ACADEMY, Jonas was allowed to appear in the image film for Europa-Park. That is exactly where he first heard about the casting for “Schloss Einstein”. He applied and now belongs to the few young actors selected for a lead role out of more than 3,000 applicants.
The casting in Erfurt took place in two rounds: First improvisation skills were tested, then Jonas had to perform texts and scenes together with other participants. The intensive preparation in the Acting classes at the TALENT ACADEMY – with pronunciation exercises and small theater pieces – prepared him perfectly and convinced the jury.
For the recordings from mid-May to October, Jonas moved to Erfurt. Filming took place there three to four times a week. The new episodes air Monday to Friday at 2:35 p.m., with a repeat of the previous day at 2:10 p.m.
The TALENT ACADEMY at Europa-Park, founded in 2014 by Katja Mack, is a place full of creativity and inspiration for all age groups. In the areas of Dance, Acrobatics, Music, Art & Mindset, children, teenagers and adults can live out their passion. With more than 100 courses per week led by nearly 40 international certified coaches, a space of over 2,000 m² and around 400 members, the institution takes events, shows and competitions to the next level.
Jonas himself sums up his experience: “My name is Jonas Fischer, I’m 14 years old and I play the role in the 29th season of the TV series Schloss Einstein, which you can soon see on KiKa. So for me everything started about two years ago at the Talent Academy at Europa-Park. I attended the Acting group and then got the chance to appear in the 50th-anniversary Europa-Park promotional film. And a short time later I became aware of the casting for the TV series Schloss Einstein. I naturally applied straight away and after several castings, I was actually allowed to take on the role of Milo. I was super excited to be part of a series that I loved watching myself when I was younger. And above all, Milo is a role that reflects me a little bit, because Milo, just like me, loves making people laugh. So the role just fit me perfectly. And it was filmed in the beautiful city of Erfurt from May to October. So the time was definitely a super exciting time in which I learned a lot and had a ton of fun. I’m definitely already looking forward to the next season and curious about what happens.”
