Parc Astérix Claims 4th Straight Win as France's Top Theme Park

The Parc Astérix triumphed once again at the Parcs Fans Awards ceremony held in the park on November 29, 2025. For the fourth consecutive year, it was named France's best theme park—earning top honors in five categories overall. These successes highlight the recognition from visitors and industry experts for the park's excellence.

The ceremony marked a high point for the Parc Astérix, solidifying its position as France's leading theme park. Visitors and industry insiders praise the variety and high standards of the attractions, making it a must-visit for families.

The park secured five awards that demonstrate the breadth of its portfolio. In the category for parks with more than one million visitors per year, it was chosen as France's best theme park—a selection that reflects its immense popularity with a wide audience.

Another highlight was the award for "Les Quais de Lutèce" as France's best hotel experience in 2025. The hotel provides guests with a unique stay seamlessly integrated into the park's Gallic world, combining comfort with thematic immersion.

The roller coaster Toutatis earned the title of France's best in 2025 in the Sensation category. This recognition emphasizes the adrenaline-fueled moments visitors experience on this ride, establishing the park as a destination for thrill-seekers.

"Peur sur le Parc" was honored as the best seasonal event in 2025. The event captivates with its atmospheric staging and draws thousands annually who enjoy the chills in a Gallic context.

"Cétautomatix" stands out in particular, having been named France's best new theming in 2025. This new family roller coaster had previously triumphed as Europe's best new family attraction at the Parksmania Awards. It combines fun for young and old with innovative design.

These awards underscore the creativity and expertise of the park's teams, who are fully committed to delivering high-quality, unforgettable immersive experiences. "Being selected as France's best park for the fourth time is an immense honor. The various awards we've received reflect the passionate work of our teams and our constant desire to innovate in service of our visitors," explains Delphine Pons, general director of the Parc Astérix.

Through these recognitions, the Parc Astérix cements its status as one of Europe's premier family-friendly destinations. The park continues to pursue its ambition to offer richer and more innovative experiences that draw visitors back time and again.

Ahead of the holidays, the Parc Astérix will immerse visitors in festive cheer with its Gallic Christmas 2025, running from December 20, 2025, to January 4, 2026. This family-oriented event blends tradition with Gallic charm.

Two new features enhance the program. The Viking Ice Rink covers a 500-square-meter area and is accessible to all age groups, offering entertaining laps on the ice amid a wintry setting.

The Christmas market in the Viking zone has been revamped and now features huts, artisanal creations, and a glowing atmosphere. Here, visitors can discover local specialties and gifts.

Highlights include the Obelix Slide, which delivers action-packed descents, as well as the enchanting path known as "The Wonderful Gardens of Santa Claus." In total, 45 attractions are available, including the newly opened family roller coaster "Cétautomatix."

Five shows shape the day. Among them are "*Who Wants the Skin of Santa Claus? What a Circus!*," an entertaining circus act, and the musical comedy "*C'est du Délire!*," which delights with humor and music.

Each evening, the program concludes with the Gallic Christmas Parade, followed by the nighttime show "*The Island of Wishes*." This presentation combines sounds, lights, and pyrotechnics for a spectacular finale.
