Phantasialand Named Germany's Best Theme Park: Triple Award for New Season Start

Phantasialand will kick off the new park year on March 28, 2026, with a real highlight. For the second consecutive year, visitors have named it Germany’s best theme park. But that’s not all — the team from Brühl has also secured a clean triple at the Parkscout Audience Award 2025/26, taking first place for best food and beverage, best event with Wintertraum, and best theme park overall. It’s a clear verdict from those who know it best: the guests themselves.

“To be honored in this way by theme park visitors is something truly special and motivates our entire Phantasialand team in everything we do,” says Birgit Reckersdrees from the park’s Marketing Direction. “Standing at the top in these three key categories once again fills us with pride and gratitude. For us, the focus is clearly on offering our guests the very best in every aspect of the Phantasialand experience. Our aim is to create new and unique experiences for our guests time and again – and we’re happy to take our own paths with full conviction to achieve that. It makes us very happy that our guests recognize and appreciate this passion for the extraordinary.”

This very passion can be felt throughout the whole park. For years, Phantasialand has consistently focused on immersion, innovation and emotion. Every detail – from the theming and shows right through to the rides – is coordinated with the greatest care and fused into a unique overall experience. Visitors reward that with lasting enthusiasm, and that is the greatest recognition for the team.

Phantasialand also shines on the culinary front. With creative pioneering spirit and inspiration drawn from kitchens around the world, the food team develops concepts that go far beyond typical theme park offerings. Whether it’s handcrafted patisserie, masterful steak burgers or African delicacies – every bite is filled with genuine passion that guests can clearly taste.

Wintertraum proves once again that real winter magic has its home at Phantasialand. Breathtaking illuminations, dreamy shows, wintry ride fun, delightful Christmas celebrations and daily fireworks create an overall concept that far exceeds ordinary Christmas events. It’s an experience for all generations, where the magic of light fills not only the park but also the hearts of its visitors.

All in all, Phantasialand picked up 18 top placements at this year’s Parkscout Audience Award – more than any other German theme park. Many of these awards have been heading to Brühl continuously for years. That serves as both motivation and a promise for the entire team. Backed by this strong appreciation, Phantasialand will open its gates again on March 28, 2026, looking forward to creating more unforgettable experiences for its guests in Germany’s best theme park.
