While many theme parks are raising ticket prices and sparking public frustration, Phantasialand in Brühl is sending a clear message to families. Voted Germany’s best theme park for the second year in a row by the visitors themselves, the park is keeping its promise: The experience must remain accessible to everyone, especially families.
Tickets start at just 29 euros on every single day – including weekends and school holidays. With its dynamic pricing model, Phantasialand lets guests plan their visit flexibly and always secure the best price through the online shop.
“Our pricing system is a deliberate offer for families: Anyone who uses the calendar in our online shop and plans their visit in advance can actively choose the cheapest price. This way, quality becomes the best price for every visitor,” explains Birgit Reckersdrees from Phantasialand’s Marketing Directorate. “Especially in times of sharply rising living costs, the decision for a family day at Phantasialand should not fail because of the day of the week or the date on the calendar.”
To make sure this promise actually works, the park relies on complete transparency. The 29-Euro ticket quotas are limited. The online shop’s daily-updated calendar always shows exactly which prices are available on which days. Those who book in good time can secure the low price even on popular days such as weekends or holidays – turning the visit into an emotional family highlight that touches the heart without breaking the budget.
Many fans are happy about the low prices, of course. But last season’s experience showed a clear downside: Cheaper tickets can also lead to much busier parks and significantly longer wait times. On days with especially cheap tickets, the park was noticeably fuller and queues at the major rides were longer. Higher prices, on the other hand, often resulted in fewer crowds and more normal wait times. Phantasialand’s dynamic pricing model is trying to strike a good balance here.
And there is more good news for those who like to plan ahead: Starting Saturday, March 28, 2026, Phantasialand will be open continuously until Sunday, January 24, 2027. From March 28 until November 13, 2026, the park is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to at least 6:00 p.m.
