Super Mario Galaxy Movie at Universal: Yoshi Meet & Greet from March 10

Mario fans, get ready – it’s about to get cosmic! Starting March 10, 2026, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are turning their SUPER NINTENDO WORLD into a must-visit highlight to celebrate the new film The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Through April 13, 2026, visitors of all ages can enjoy exclusive offerings, photo opportunities and merchandise – perfectly timed for the movie’s premiere on April 1, 2026.

At the heart of the experience is Yoshi, who will be available for limited-time personal meet and greets at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort. Fans can step straight into the film’s world and create lasting memories.

The food side gets galactic too. Select dining locations will serve a specialty dessert that captures the cosmic adventure. Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Epic Universe will also offer movie-inspired treats including the Rosalina Cupcake – a blue velvet cupcake filled with blueberry cheesecake and lemon buttercream, topped with a chocolate crown and a star – plus Galaxy Popcorn, multicolored berry-flavored popcorn with edible glitter.

Collectors will be thrilled by the limited-time merchandise inspired by the film. The star of the show: the first-ever interactive shoulder pals themed to the Luma. Available in blue and yellow, they light up, make sounds and even communicate with each other when they’re close – an absolute must-have for every fan.

The fun continues at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood and Orlando. A themed photo opportunity with a galactic tunnel design straight from the film invites everyone to strike a pose. Additionally, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will screen on the big screen at Universal Cinema at Universal CityWalk Hollywood and Universal Cinemark at Universal CityWalk Orlando starting April 1. The film from Nintendo and Illumination will be released worldwide by Universal Pictures.
