Walibi Belgium Reopens April 4: Dock World Celebrates First Birthday and Dining Gets a Major Upgrade

Who’s already marking their calendar? On Saturday, April 4, 2026, Walibi Belgium will open its gates for another exciting season packed with fan-favorite highlights. At the heart of it all is the first anniversary of the immersive Dock World Zone, which has become an absolute must-visit in just one year. At the same time, the park is significantly upgrading its food offerings and expanding its already strong event calendar. If you’re looking for thrills, great vibes and now even better food, this is the place to be.

Dock World has quickly established itself as a core part of the park. The immersive area and its flagship attraction Mecalodon deliver exactly what families love: pure thrills, fantastic theming and plenty of shared moments. It’s no surprise that the success has also been recognized on an international level. Mecalodon was voted “Must-See New Attraction in Europe,” while Dock World took home the award for “Best Use of Theming” at the prestigious Park World Excellence Awards.

For those who want great food after the adrenaline, 2026 brings a real step forward. Walibi has partnered with Belgian chef Bart De Pooter – a former two-time Michelin-starred chef who now specializes in large-scale culinary concepts, including major events like Tomorrowland. The goal is noticeably better quality in products, recipes and preparation without disrupting the natural flow of a day at the park.

Concretely, all beef burgers are being upgraded step by step: the meat now comes from Holstein cattle from established Belgian supply chains, the portion size increases from 55 to 70 grams, and the buns have been replaced with higher-quality versions. Hungry Sharky’s poke bowls are also getting an upgrade, and Delhi’cious is adding a new pita to the menu. Everything stays simple, tasty and affordable. The park continues to work with Belgian suppliers and keeps prices largely in line with previous seasons.

Those who want more than just the rides will also be spoiled for choice. The event calendar is packed: The very first Walibi Run a few days ago already attracted 2,500 runners for a unique course through the park and behind the scenes. This fall, Ibilaw returns for its third edition (October 10 to November 11), turning the park into a spooky Halloween world full of chills, immersive experiences and nighttime runs. At the end of the year, Walibi Winter comes back for its fourth edition (December 16 to January 3) with festive lighting, winter activities and a cozy family atmosphere.

Right next door, Aqualibi remains open all year round and is introducing five new Wave Parties this season – a fresh festive format with music, light shows and aquatic vibes for unforgettable rhythmic evenings.

In short, Walibi Belgium stays true to its DNA and continues to deliver intense yet accessible experiences that are best enjoyed together. The park reopens on April 4, 2026, but will be privatized on April 11 and 12. Gate prices are €56 for regular tickets and €46 for reduced tickets. All current information on opening hours and tickets is available on the official park website.
