Clear the calendar, LEGO fans: From July 20 to Aug. 30, 2026, LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort turns into the big LEGO Festival. Five interactive zones await — with LEGO Pokémon™ and LEGO F1 as fresh headliners. What’s in store? And why should fans stick around for the Long Summer Nights with parade and closing fireworks?
Center stage belongs to the LEGO Festival 2026, back for a second year in many parks worldwide. At LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort, kids and parents build, dance, play and tinker from July 20 to Aug. 30 across five interactive zones. Two new highlights stand out: With LEGO Pokémon™ headlining the Play Zone, families share interactive play and bring the trainer journey into the real world brick by brick. At the LEGO Pokémon™: Trainer Center, they learn how to care for their Pokémon, train them and send them into battle. Together they build a LEGO Poké Ball and snap photos in front of a large LEGO Pikachu model. First looks at the newly announced LEGO Pokémon™ SMART Play Sets round out the fun.
In the new Thrill Zone, LEGO F1 delivers race-day energy. At the Brick Stop Challenge, families change tires against the clock, build their own LEGO race cars and catch the “Boxengassen Showtime” show. Around an official LEGO F1® race car, kids and parents test their teamwork as a pit crew. In the Music Zone, rock and pop stars face off in “Battle of the Bands.” Prefer a calmer pace? The Creative Zone is for building and tinkering; the secret garden in the Chill Out Zone offers a relaxed break with LEGO Botanicals.
“The LEGO Festival brings together exactly what families are looking for at LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort: building, playing, laughing and trying new things together. Each zone tells its own story, but everywhere the focus is the shared experience of kids and parents. That’s exactly what creates the family moments that make a summer day at LEGOLAND special,” says Manuela Stone, managing director of LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort.
More summer highlights fill out the day. In LAND DER PIRATEN, pirate water fun with 1,024 fountains cools hot afternoons. In the Power Builder Halle, families can ice skate in summer on synthetic ice. On Aug. 1, 8 and 15, the resort hosts Long Summer Nights until 10 p.m. — parade, live entertainment and a grand closing fireworks show. Want to stay longer? LEGOLAND Feriendorf has overnight stays among pirates, ninjas, knight castles or LEGO forest animals. With more than 68 rides, attractions and shows, summer at LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort delivers at least a full day of unforgettable family moments. All festival activities are included in regular park admission.
