MINILAND Solar Eclipse Photos: Exclusive Shots From LEGOLAND

The evening sky over Germany darkened on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. A deep partial solar eclipse hid up to 90 percent of the sun behind the moon. In this form, that sight will not return until 2081. LEGOLAND® Deutschland Resort caught the sky where fans would look first: MINILAND.

That is the heart of the park. European landmarks stand there at a scale of 1:20 to 1:40, rebuilt faithfully from LEGO® bricks. The setting sun crescent was staged with those miniature buildings. What came out are special, unusual photographs — the smallest brickwork under a vast sky, exclusive images.
