Trainers, Get Ready! LEGO Pokémon to Headline the Play Zone at LEGO Festival 2026 in LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort

LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort has announced exciting news for Pokémon fans of all ages: LEGO Pokémon will be the absolute headliner of the new Play Zone at the LEGO Festival 2026. From July 20 to August 30, 2026, guests have the unique opportunity to bring their Pokémon Trainer dreams to life in the real world – and be among the first worldwide with exclusive first looks at the newly announced LEGO Pokémon SMART Play Sets, which will only reach stores in August.

The LEGO Festival turns LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort into a fantasy celebration with five interactive zones: the Music Zone, Creative Zone, Chill Out Zone, the new Play Zone featuring LEGO Pokémon, and the LEGO F1 Thrill Zone. Access to the entire festival is included with regular admission.

In the Play Zone, children and adults alike can immerse themselves in a world inspired by LEGO Pokémon. They meet five selected Pokémon, care for them, and train their skills before heading into the big final battle built from LEGO bricks. At the LEGO Pokémon: Trainer Center, visitors experience up close how the new LEGO SMART Play System brings the figures to life right in their hands – completely screen-free. This turns caring for, training, and battling with the beloved Pokémon into a truly interactive experience.

In addition, guests can build and display their own LEGO Poké Ball and take a souvenir photo with the large LEGO Pikachu model arriving at the resort especially for the festival.
